Casual roles in Toowoomba Catholic schools give you the flexibility to work when and where it suits you, while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students. Your experience and expertise can be shared across our network of schools, supporting learning wherever it’s needed.

With 32 schools across the Diocese (soon to be 33 from 2027), Casual staff are essential to delivering quality Catholic education to more than 9,700 students.

Applying for Casual opportunities

By completing our Casual application form (below) and registering with Tap for Teacher, you can indicate your availability, nominate the schools you wish to hear from, and ensure your details are visible only to those schools. Once we receive your application, a member of the Employee Services team will contact you. Please note that processing may take up to 3–4 weeks.

*Tap for Teacher is the booking system used across all Toowoomba Catholic schools for relief teachers and school officers (classroom support/teacher aides).
